Earth Weather (the “App”), provided by Food in Korea (the “Developer”), displays global numerical weather-model forecasts. This policy explains how information is handled.
1. Information handled by the App
- Foreground location: With your permission, the App obtains approximate or precise location once to center the initial globe view. The coordinate is used on the device, is not saved by the Developer, and is not sent to the Developer’s weather server. You may deny or revoke this permission; all other weather features remain available.
- Weather requests and server logs: The App periodically downloads preprocessed weather files. The hosting server may automatically log IP address, request time, requested path, and basic device/network headers for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
- No account or user content: The App has no account, login, contact upload, photo access, or user-content submission.
2. Advertising and consent
The App uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Depending on your region, choices, and device settings, Google may process advertising identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, device/app information, diagnostics, ad interactions, and consent signals to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and comply with law. Personalized advertising is requested only when permitted by the applicable consent flow and settings.

3. Sharing, retention, and security
The Developer does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by Google as the advertising service provider and by infrastructure providers needed to deliver weather files. Server logs are retained only as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, and legal obligations, then deleted or aggregated. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure.
4. Your choices and deletion
You can manage location permission in Android Settings, manage advertising/privacy choices through the App’s Privacy options when available, reset or delete the advertising ID in device settings, clear App storage, or uninstall the App. Because the App creates no account and stores no Developer-side profile, there is no account data to delete. For a server-log privacy request, contact the Developer below.
5. Children and international use
The App is a general-audience weather visualization and is not directed to children under 13. Weather forecasts are informational numerical model guidance, not official warnings or a life-safety service. Information may be processed in countries where the Developer or service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.

Food in Korea(이하 “개발자”)가 제공하는 지구 날씨(이하 “앱”)는 전 세계 수치예보 모델을 시각화합니다. 본 방침은 앱에서 정보가 처리되는 방식을 설명합니다.
1. 앱이 처리하는 정보
- 포그라운드 위치: 사용자가 허용하면 앱은 최초 지구 화면을 현재 지역 중심으로 맞추기 위해 대략적 또는 정확한 위치를 한 번 가져옵니다. 좌표는 기기 안에서만 사용되고 개발자가 저장하거나 기상 데이터 서버로 전송하지 않습니다. 권한을 거부·철회해도 다른 기상 기능은 이용할 수 있습니다.
- 기상 파일 요청 및 서버 로그: 앱은 가공된 기상 파일을 주기적으로 내려받습니다. 보안, 안정성, 장애 대응 및 남용 방지를 위해 호스팅 서버에 IP 주소, 요청 시각·경로, 기본 기기·네트워크 헤더가 자동 기록될 수 있습니다.
- 계정 및 사용자 콘텐츠 없음: 회원가입, 로그인, 연락처·사진 접근이나 사용자 콘텐츠 제출 기능이 없습니다.
2. 광고 및 동의
앱은 Google AdMob과 Google User Messaging Platform을 사용합니다. 지역, 동의 선택 및 기기 설정에 따라 Google은 광고 제공·측정, 부정행위 방지 및 법적 의무 준수를 위해 광고 식별자, IP 기반 대략적 위치, 기기·앱 정보, 진단 정보, 광고 상호작용 및 동의 신호를 처리할 수 있습니다. 맞춤형 광고는 관련 동의 절차와 설정에서 허용되는 경우에만 요청합니다.

3. 제공, 보관 및 보호
개발자는 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 광고 제공자인 Google과 기상 파일 제공에 필요한 인프라 사업자가 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. 서버 로그는 보안·장애 대응 및 법적 의무에 합리적으로 필요한 기간만 보관한 뒤 삭제하거나 집계합니다. 합리적인 기술적·관리적 보호조치를 적용하지만 어떠한 전송·저장 방식도 완전한 안전을 보장할 수는 없습니다.
4. 이용자 선택 및 삭제
Android 설정에서 위치 권한을 관리하고, 앱에 개인정보 옵션이 표시되는 경우 광고·개인정보 선택을 변경하며, 기기 설정에서 광고 ID를 재설정·삭제할 수 있습니다. 앱 저장공간을 지우거나 앱을 삭제할 수도 있습니다. 앱은 계정이나 개발자 서버의 사용자 프로필을 만들지 않으므로 삭제할 계정 데이터가 없습니다. 서버 로그 관련 요청은 아래 연락처로 문의해 주세요.
5. 아동 및 국제 이용
앱은 일반 이용자용 기상 시각화 서비스이며 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 표시되는 수치예보는 일반 정보이며 공식 특보 또는 생명·안전 판단용 서비스가 아닙니다. 정보는 관련 보호조치에 따라 개발자 또는 서비스 제공자가 운영하는 국가에서 처리될 수 있습니다.
